Rohitghumare.com is a public portfolio and publication. It does not include a contact form, account system, first-party advertising, or first-party analytics script. The limited data flows needed to serve the site are described below.

## Theme preference

The light and dark theme control stores one value named `theme` in browser local storage. Its value is `light` or `dark`. The value remains on the device so the site can reuse the visitor's choice. The theme script does not send it to Rohit. It can be removed through browser site-data controls.

## Google Fonts

Pages request VT323, Source Serif 4, and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts. When a browser contacts Google's font servers, ordinary request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested files, and request time may be available to Google. Google handles that request under its own privacy terms. Blocking the request leaves the text available in fallback fonts.

## Public project statistics

The home page asks the npm downloads API directly for public monthly package counts. The browser contacts `api.npmjs.org`, so npm receives normal network metadata for that request. The site does not attach a portfolio account identifier because there are no portfolio accounts.

The home page also calls `/api/stats`. That server-side endpoint obtains public aggregate counts from the GitHub API, PyPI Stats, and Docker Hub, then caches its response at the edge. Those upstream requests are made by the server. The endpoint is intended to return repository stars and forks, GitHub follower count, PyPI downloads, and Docker pulls. It does not need a form submission or browser profile to produce those totals.

## Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process operational request data needed to deliver and protect the service, including an IP address, request path, timestamp, user agent, response status, and related network information. The site source does not include a first-party analytics or advertising script. Hosting and security logs are separate from a marketing analytics profile.

## Email

The contact link is a `mailto:` address. Clicking it opens the visitor's email application. If a message is sent, the sender's mail service and Rohit's email provider process the address, message body, attachments, and delivery metadata. Rohit may use that information to evaluate the request, reply, keep necessary correspondence, or protect against abuse. Do not email credentials, private customer data, or sensitive files unless Rohit has agreed to receive them.

## Cookies, external links, and choices

The site source does not set first-party cookies. External destinations, remote font services, and API providers may apply their own policies after a browser contacts them. Visitors can read the Markdown files without running the theme script, block remote fonts, clear local storage, or use browser controls that limit third-party requests.
